At Six Kin, we recognize that privacy of your personal information is of paramount importance. This page provides details on what types of personal information we collect when you visit our websites or use one of our apps, and how we safeguard your information.
We NEVER sell your personal information to third parties, or use it in any way without your consent.
Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to Six Kin’s websites and users of our apps may choose to interact in ways that require us to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that we gather depends on the nature of the interaction. In each case, we collect such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfil the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with our website and our apps. We do not disclose personally-identifying information, and visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information and may request to have their personal data removed at any time, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities or prevent them from using our apps.
Cookies
A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. We currently do not use cookies for our website or our apps.
Log Files
As with most other websites, we collect and use the data contained in web server log files. This information includes your IP address, your internet service provider (ISP), the browser you used to visit our site, the time you visited our site and which pages you visited throughout our site. Our purpose in collecting this information is to better understand how our visitors use our websites, so that we may continue to improve our content.
Shopify Apps
The policies stated in this section apply to apps that Six Kin publishes via the Shopify App Store.
Information We Collect
Depending on the functionality, our apps may need to access any or all of the following types of data:
- Shop information - address, domain, email, etc.
- Product information - description, price, discounts, inventory, collections, etc.
- Customer information - name, email, address, order history, etc.
- Order information - customer name, email, address, billing and payment information, items purchased, etc.
For a detailed listing of the types of information available to our apps via the Shopify API, refer to the Shopify REST Admin API reference. During the installation process, our apps will state clearly what data is required by that app and will seek your consent before proceding.
How We Use This Data
The information we collect is used strictly as required by our apps in order to provide the stated functionality. Additonally, our apps will retrieve only the minimum amount and type of data necessary. Refer to the specific app listing in the Shopify App Store for details on what features that app provides and what information it requires.
We NEVER use your data for marketing or any purposes other than as stated above.
Storage and Retention of Data
All data used by our apps is stored securely on Google Cloud servers. To learn more about the policies in effect for data stored on Google Cloud, refer to the Google Cloud Privacy Resource Center.
Shopify Privacy Policy
In addition to the policies stated in this section, all of the policies provided in Shopify‘s Privacy for Users of Shopify Apps also apply to Six Kin apps.
Regulatory Compliance
Six Kin is based in Singapore and adheres strictly to all government requirements regarding privacy, particularly the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Additionally, in service to our European users, we are fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Privacy Policy Changes
Although changes are likely to be minor, Six Kin may change its Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to the Privacy Policy. Your continued use of our websites and apps after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such changes.
