We were very excited to be invited by Connectome to participate in their inaugural community event, Human X AI, hosted by Found8 on 19 February. The theme for this thought provoking series of talks centered around the human condition and how artificial intelligence can be used for the social good.
Six Kin's Managing Director, Mr. Scott Jones, gave a riveting presentation on how AI can be used to help achieve the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In particular, he described how SingularityNET's new decentralized network for exchanging AI services & data will democratize AI and allow the masses to participate in the multi-trillion dollar AI economy. Scott then talked about our ground breaking AI in Education project, Pandai, and how it aspires to directly address SDG goal #4 by making quality education available to kids in developing countries.
Following the presentations, Scott joined Atsushi Ishii, CEO of Couger and Co-Founder of Connectome; and Patty Lee, Founding Team Member of Ocean Protocol for a fireside chat, moderated by Wan Wei Soh, Head of Content Strategy at Connectome. After discussing a few key issues, the panel fielded questions from the highly engaged audience well into the evening.
Many thanks to Connectome and our wonderful hosts, Found8, for organizing a fantastic event!
